Rots-a-ruck! Me too! My neighborhood is getting crowded, had three hunting areas pulled out from under me! New houses by the hundreds, sprouted like weeds, in the last eight years or so. Now the ranges are down.
You're not in Agony county, so you might find a sympathetic landowner that will allow you to "make a little noise".
I just got off the phone with a friend, be joining a club real soon!  Gonna cost me twice as much as you. Should have done it years ago. Welcome to the Twenty-first Century! Woodbutcher

I don't normally invite people to use my range, because once they get on the property, it is hard to get them off.

If it is just a matter of sighting in a couple of guns, you can send me a personal message or even a email and I will invite you over any weekend that I am not busy.

But if it was someone that wanted to come over and shoot his machine gun or rapid fire pistol - the answer is NO!

I have neighbors and they are ok with the occasional shot or two.  But when someone shoots off 1000 rounds in a day.  They get kind of mad.

I once bought a 300 Weatherby Magnum and had a hard time sighting it in.  All the neighbors caught me in church, the grocery store, post office etc.  Asking me what kind of gun was I shooting and telling me that it shook their whole house.  I got the hint!

I have a range behind my mom's house that is set up for 100 and 200 yards.

But, if someone wanted - they could help build a new shooting bench and measure out distances and we could set it up the whole way to 1000 yards.

I live outside of Punxsutawney PA. /  jbhunterman (at) hotmail.com
