beretta stampede 357 mag

i handled one of these guns in bass pro not long ago,and it felt like a well made revolver with some beef to it.
does anyone out there own one or have you read or heard bad or good about them. i'd like to pursue this one ,
but just not sure how well they perform. thank you for anyt input,dan
Dan Deluca aka "warrior1" has passed away.  Dan was a frequent poster here and on several other sites.  He passed away on 12/29/08 from a massive heart attack. RIP Dan.

Their as good as any other Uberti import and usually have a nicer finish. I had two 45's and they both outshot my rugers. They have a frame mounted firing pin so they only have three clicks when cocked if that matters to you. My only gripe was that both grip pannels cracked almost immediately on both guns. Berreta sent me new ones for free and they cracked as well.
