keep in mind that if you post loads on this fourm you need to reference a loading manual. I just had to delete a bunch of posts and one of them was my own. The handloading forum is a much better place to post specific loads.

That last one I posted was from my Nosler manual, page 108.  It was penciled in the margin right next to the bullet sketch.  Does this count?   ???

No, SERIOUSLY, Lloyd is correct.  We should cite the reference where we get the load.  I can tell you this, if I have referenced a load in this forum, it is from the writings of Elmer Keith with confirmation from current load manuals and/or personally safely working it up in my handguns.  To my knowledge, none of my loads exceed current load manuals or available factory ammunition.

Stay safe!!

Just for info:

If you cite Keith, remember that he stated that he used "standard, not magnum" primers in his famous .44 mag/250 load. Also 2400 was reformulated a few years ago....the current max is below Keith's loads.

Steve i must have missed it. Im not to keen on any loads given on this forum other then maybe a load you used in your single action to kill something. This fourm is about single action guns not loads. The loading forum is the place for loading questions. The moderator there is constantly on the watch for bad loads and I dont look for it much and im afraid a bad one might sneek by. It can happen with just a wrong stroke of a key and some idiot could take it as safe and hurt himself. I think anyone who takes load data from the internet from someone he doesnt know is about a intelegent as a cave man anyway. Please everyone dont take it personal if i deleted or delete one of you posts in the future. If it has a refernce to a loading manual that has the addition and page no. I guess i cant say a thing as your not hurting a soul.

You-all gotta quit ragging on those cavemen, you are going to really hurt their feelings. Seriously,I won't use a load unless it is from one of my manuals. I was in one serious accident(didn't have anything to do with firearms) and I don't want to take a chance on another.
