Who's Ready for the nite bite?
« on: June 04, 2003, 04:05:09 PM »
I'm ready, at least I had better be.  First night T of the year is next weekend.  Its time to switch on the black lights and get out of the way of the water turds.

I always heard a rumor FULLMOON in JUNE for bass!!!!  Since the weather is a month behind here I just can't figure this out I was doing so good the past three years at this and I learnt not to take it for granted it ain't that easy at times when places are fished really heavy.  But I'm ready to fish at night and right now I'm fishing early mornings just to stay away from people and it gives the place a chance to relax ans calm down from all the stuff being thrown at night there.                     BigBill

Its not luck in fishing its "Skill" so "GOODSKILL"!!!!!!

That saying was for Dale Hollow.  It gets hot about that time of year.  Those brown fish are primed to bite anything that moves.

Skipper,
Down here night bite has a whole different meaning. I try to stay off the water at night to avoid it! Seriously, I prefer to fish days, just don't enjoy fishing at night. I don't mind the heat and the wind of day fishing. To me it's preferable to nights with the bugs and boating hazards.
Good Luck,
Savage

YOU BET!!  With the temperature hitting the century mark and the tourists churning up the lakes with water skiers and jet skis, night time is the best time.  Keeps my blood pressure down when I don't have to contend with the slicks for room to cast.  It's tempting to bounce a 3/4 oz. Spook off some jerks head.  Lawdog
