Does anyone trap Coons in conibear buckets?
« on: September 04, 2007, 03:47:42 PM »
Has anyone used those bucket guards that hold the conibear in the bucket, I have not seen one one at any convs I've been, are they any good? Also does anyone lift their bucket off the ground with  brackets or logs. Any other good ways to trap coons in buckets?  ;D

Thanks
Andy

andy i use a lot of buckets on coon here in illinois  i do not raise them off the ground it you raise them you could be putting them in a prime height for a dog to put his head in and set the 220 off i also try to cover my buckets and opening with brush and pointy sticks to keep the dogs out of my buckets neal
