I went to the range with my sidekick today because I was not happy at all with the first range session last week. Today was much better. Last week all of the primers were getting stuck in the carriers because they were bulging out on the sides. One carrier was even ruined from the expansion. This week I used the same brand of primers but from a different package and they all came right out of the carriers. When I shot last week I was using TC cheap shots(240gr) just to get the gun on paper. My results were not very impressive at all. Today I used 240gr XTPs. These were a little harder to shove down the barrel than the cheap shots but the groups and consistency were great. I feel very confident in this gun now. I also bought an O-ring for the barrel stud. I can now run a dollar bill under the forearm right to the stud. This is about the easiest and cheapest mod you could ever do. So I dont know what made all the difference, O-ring, bullets or primers, but I will take the results.
