Buddy just got the action done on my 44p and he did my 444 outfitter last month. We shot about 300 rounds out of each yesterday making big rocks into small rocks. Did i tell you I love these two guns. I wish both were missing the ports but even with them they are by far my favorite lever guns. Both are very accurate mild recoiling hard hitting guns that run like there coated in grease!! Two better hunting rifles for anything in the US would be hard to find.

my best friend and before you shake your head he does probably the finest action work on sixguns and lever guns in the country. He just doesnt do it for ohter people with the exception of me.

he just did the final tweeking of the action on my new custom marlin 94 in 475 linebaugh too. Cant wait to blast some up in that one.

Lloyd, I bet your face hurts from grinning all the time, shooting all those cool guns and calibers.  Some guys are blessed, some are lucky, I'm convinced you're both.  A Marlin kind of day is my favorite kind too!  I'm taking my M-375 and my 336C 35 Remmy to the range tomorrow, probably the 1894SS as well.  By the time the sun goes down, I'll be 100% stress free!

John you just have to eat chicken noodle soup 6 days a week and spend your money on guns. I agree though shootng for me is a better relaxer then any drug!!

i saw a marlin in 450 yesterday that someone had changed the stocks to high gloss blackwalnut and got the barrel glossed. he had bought a mount that goes on the barrel and put a leupold vx3 pistol scope with leupold custom gold plating on the ring and around they eyepiece then got it in high gloss. it was a very smooth and nice gun. he put it on consignment because he needed the cash  according to the gun store owner anyways he wants only $800. i am going to go buy it soon. he has $1600 worth of work in it so i know its a great deal. i put off buying stuff for the encore for this gun
