Anyone use the species specific bodygrips? I have run across a good deal on some 220's. They seem like a well built trap..

I sold species specifics, still have a few dozen left for sale--no close out prices lol.
They were the thickest steal
on any body grippers, I have used the 330s for several years, they never seem to lose spring strength--good traps in my book.

Triggers on the Species Specifics are heavy and well built,I suppose if you wanted you could replace with bolt on triggers.

The top plates on the species triggers are heavy steel, they also have 4 bolts instead of 2.The second set lets you adjust the amount of tension needed to fire the trap.

Thanks Boggy. Have you ever had the bolts work loose on their own ? I have no intentions of replacing them unless I have too.

Caught hundreds of beaver in them, and have never had a nut come off.You can peen the end of the bolts a bit if you are worried about the nuts working off.
