New Ultra Hunter .243... I had an Idea...

So I ordered up my Ultra Hunter in .243. I was going to go with a 25-06 or a .308, but I choose to go with what I know. I was leaning towards an Ultra Slug Hunter... But I found out that with the gun, I can only get shotgun barrels. So I went with the Ultra Hunter and will get a Ultra Slug 20 Gauge later.

I'm pretty excited to get a bigger brother to my Ultra Varmint .22WMR...

I will post up pics when I get the rifle...

Good for you. I know the 58 grain Hornady ammo will rip Groundhogs in half at out to 300 yards.   Dale

I went for the longer barreled varmint version, but other than that its the same as your hunter.

Its also a GREAT shooter!!  One of my favorites!!

Good luck with it, looking forward to future reports.
