Article about Ruger Bearcat with custom adjustable sights
« on: September 18, 2007, 09:06:34 AM »
A few months ago I read an article in one of the gun magazines about a 'smith who put adjustable sights on a Bearcat.  I think he used sights from a S&W J-frame.  Does anyone remember who the gunsmith was or what magazine it was in?  I thought I had kept the magazine but I can't find it.  If not, who would you suggest to do such a task?

Thanks,
Doc T

I'd ask Dave Clements at Clements Custom Guns or Jim Stroh at Alpha Precision.

please share what kind of wait and cost the j frame adjustables would entail.. I like my adjustable sights, though my little bear cat shoots to point of aim for me right now.

I think clements advertises $250 with a new front sight to match if you provide the j frame sight. I believe brownels still has some for sale.

Thanks Master Smale... the gun actually cost less than that used as it is... lots of character, that one...
If I do that I will want a new one to do it with...
worth if for sure, though..
