Most liberals( Democrats), tend to be against hunting and trapping.I doubt if MS. Clinton would accompany you on your trap line.

and I doubt if a city boy like Bush would either.

please- tell me one thing Bush did to help trapping? Or ANY president?

if one looks at anti trapping bills you will find as many republican sponsors as democratic sponsors.

to look for support on party lines, is very foolish- look to the individual.

WI and MN are tow of the most liberal states out there yet they are in the top 3 certainly in trapping states in regards as number of trappers etc.

And MN is one of the few state,s that has trapping, hunting and fishing protected through a constitution admendment- passed by close to 80% of the voters- and what % of that- was "liberal democrats"?

biggest mistake some make, is thinking that all or even most Republicans are for trapping, and democrats against. and nothing could be further from the truth.

bottomline none of them care, or even give a moments thought to trapping.

yes Tom, it does say "taking of game" and legallly- taking of game includes trapping.

if you are going to allow any discussion on a political post, and then chime in yourself with a political opinion- you got to expect other responses....   ;D
