Finally got a chance to get out to the range today and try out the barrel I bought from the classifieds this last week from buckslugger.
All I can say is it's a keeper considering how well it shot with my old eyes, and shooting off a rickety bench using a couple of sandbags.
I was shooting Winchester Super X (silver box) 140 grain, factory ammo that I received with the barrel.
He was right about the barrel shooting 1 1/2" groups @ 100 yards, and with some better bench equipment, and someone with a little better skills I think this barrel is capable of even better accuracy, but I'll take it the way it is any day of the week!
Here is a picture with four shots hitting within an inch, inch and a quarter of each other, and one in the ten spot at nine o'clock, and two that are around eight o'clock in the 8 and 9 ring which I pretty much knew were my fault.
The recoil was more of a push and less snappy than my .243, and I think it may have been for the fact I added some lead shot to the stock to add weight.
Very pleasant to shoot and I would take it any day over my .243!
