Took the NEF 30-30 and my new NEF 308. Got things going with the 30-30. Same sweet shooting rifle it was the last time I shot it. There is something that I just love about this little rifle. Next up was the 308. I got this for my wife to shoot as she wants to get in to hunting. I have youth stocks on it because she is a small frame built woman. Shooting Remington 150gr. core-lokt. First shot Bam scope got me first time thats every happen to me and man did it hurt. Took a little time to get it dailed in. I think this is going to be a good shooter also. I did notice and I think I have read on here about it happening but when I would shot for groups the first two shots would be anywhere from 5/8 to 3/4 of an inch but the third would open the group up to 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 everytime. But that is fine with me I am not shooting a match I am after deer and I think that is pretty good for deer at 100 yards and less.
