I've used JB Weld on lots of stuff, it is one of the very few products that actually work as claimed. I've used it to temporarily mount a scope on a muzzleloader. And it is very easy to remove, just heat it till it starts to smoke, give it a sharp tap and off it comes. Then clean off the remaining glue with steel wool or burlap cloth while still hot. If you let it cool it will be as strong as ever but working it hot you can just rub it off with no damage at all to the blued surface. To get any adhesive to hold you must first get the surfaces absolutely clean and oil free, do that and JB Weld will amaze you. PS--- NOT THE "QUICK" KIND!!
