Name that powder

I got some promotional Winchester 20 gauge shells with 3/4 ounce loads at Wal Mart not too long ago and we shot them last weekend for skeet.  Pretty good shells, considering they're $3 per box.

My question about these is what powder is used in them?  After shooting two boxes of shells each, the bores of neither of our two guns looked like a shot had been fired.  I like that.

I also found a load recipe for these poly-formed hulls in the Alliant manual and reloaded them.  They are not nearly as nice to reload as AAs. The crimps don't come out nice on about half of them.  But I figured I'd try reloading them once.  The load is identical to what I'm using for AAs.

They're about the same, the Clays might be a little cleaner, but it's hard to tell with a shiny barrel!

Selmer,

That's surprising........we load both Universal Clays and IMR 4756 and have found 4756 to be A LOT cleaner than the Universal Clays.
