graveyard hunter
« on: November 20, 2007, 08:10:47 AM »
well after the move, saw this large and pretty grave yard. I had been shooting rats and starlings and had been seeing this coyote at around sundown feeding. My old hunting bubbys had gave me a box as a send off gift( i started the bay area airgun hunting club and had got most people in hunting with airguns, slingshots and other weapons like that.) I had not really looked at the box and when i did i saw there was a note on it from the club members. They had got some cash together and got me some new stuff(I was the poorest in gear but richest in using with i did have) Well there was a Boonie hat, stocking cap, insulated groves, advantage HD parka, new calls for squirrels and predator, 2 box's of 22 rem golden, hip holster for my 1934, .22 Shell Carrier, 3 box's of stinger, 2 of 22 mini mag, 6 mags for the 1934, beeman sliver, bear, laser, Daisy steel tip, gamo mag, master, hunter pellets in both .177 and .22 cal. I was happy and smileing because my boys took care of me( everything i used for scopes to guns was used) Well anyway with all this new stuff i was going to kill that yote. This coyote came in the graveyard the same way every-time and when i had first saw him i thorught he was someone pet because he was all white. So i got up in a tree with my .22(by the way this area were i moved to is in a rural area so i can shoot and hunt all i like, towns 30 miles away,) he was over by the big pond and when he stopped i took aim with my barska 6-24(i used to have a tasco 10-40 on this gun but i sold it) i was ready to shoot when i moved to steady it more and i almost fall dropping my gun and the yote ran. the next day, i had my 380 with laser and i was hiding behead a headstone. i saw him coming as before and when he was within 5 yards, i stood and fired and missed and fired again and hit dirt. I check my laser and it was off by 2 feet. the next night i was there again with all gray camo on and was hidden in the head stones. he came from the right as before and i used a headstone for a rest and he turns and looks right at me. My finger comes off the trigger and i put my gun back up. If i killed him i would never see a white coyote every again and he was a very pretty animal.  as i turn to leave there this black man in his 40s looking and lafing at me. I think" d1m my a$$ is grass" i was about to say something when he did. I have hunted here a long time myself, when i first started working here i saw him and try to kill him with a .22 hornet but he alwasy got away. I ask how long ago was this and he says about 25 years ago(i guess there are more all white coyotes around here) we talk some more and after talking it looks like i fround someone to hunt with

Steve King won't make a movie out of it... Now if the coyote comes back to haunt you.. that could be worth something... luck.
