Hi:

Does anyone know if Ithacagun has a custom shop?  Has anyone seen what their custom made shotguns look like?

                                                                   Thanks,

I have visited Ithaca Gun and seen the entire plant which doesn't take that long........When they reorganized and bought the company, it was only a handful of ex-employees starting out again.  They showed us a few custom guns that were made for customers at the conclusion of the tour. So I believe they still are making the model 37 in custom orders.  Best check with them though.

I visited the Ithaca Company a couple of times (they are only a 1/2 hour from my place) and they did in fact have a custom shop. They are now located in Kings Ferry, NY which is a little bit North of Ithaca, NY. Most of the work I saw was on the stocks, but I understand they can do just about anything you have the money for. They still build a great, dependable shotgun.
