No exit hole on Coyotes
« on: October 09, 2007, 02:00:59 PM »
In my .223 I have 50gr V-Max. In my 308 I have 110gr Hornady SJHP. Will I have a 2nd hole or not on yotes?

Yes, and the one from the .308 will be big enough to throw a cat through.  Larry
A gun is just like a parachute, if you ever really need one, nothing else will do.

with the 308 it all depends on where you hit the yote, if in the shoulder, you may
only pickup the back half

Ive had good luck limiting hits on coyotes to a single entrance hole and no exit with 52gr Speer HP in a .223.  If your looking for fur just keep your 308 in your gun safe.
