Company Not To Buy From!!
« on: September 28, 2007, 10:57:56 AM »
I was thinking of adding a Laser to my gun. Looking around as to what I wanted I found a company in the city I live in. Here in Arizona being one of the more pro gun states there is a company called Laserlyte. I went to the office intending to check out their products first had. The first thing I see on the door is a NO FIREARMS SIGN. To me it doesn't get anymore hypocritical then to have a business selling gun accessories and have an Anti Gun Policy. I for one will never buy and products they make. If you agree with me pass the word on all the forums your on. If you feel i'm wrong in my feeling so strong let me know

Did you inquire within as to the nature of the sign before jumping to the foregone conclusion they were anti-gun?  Now this commentary is riding the thin edge, for me, but I had to ask.  I tend to conclude, as did you, right, wrong, or indifferent, that a sign of this type is not an invitation but a warning that they are not friendly to gun owners...and you would be 100% correct in calling them hypocrites if that turns out to be the case.

One the other hand, perhaps a lot of gun friendly types keep showing up at their shop with their guns, some loaded you can be sure, looking for a fit-up to their lasers and it is scaring the help/owners.  In this case, the sign could be adjusted for a more gun-friendly warning.

Let us know.

No firearms is going a little far, but it is good to have a caution sign.

Most firearms/accesories dealers around have a keep it concealed or keep it unloaded sign on their door for this purpose.
"At least with a gun that big, if you miss and hit the rocks in front of him it'll stone him to death..."
