What size 44mag bullet should I be using?

I reload for my 44mag Ruger Super Blackhawk revolver, and my recently added Puma 44 lever action rifle.

Should I be using the .430 Hornady XTP or the Speer .429? 

I'd like to cook something up that worked well in both guns just to make things a lot simpler.  I'd appreciate any helpful advice.

It really shouldn't matter. Both should work equally well and certainly have in all .44 Magnum handguns and rifles I've fired them in.

Try Remington 240 grain hp's. I have had great results and buy them bulk from Midway for the best price.

Actually GBO Sponsor Midsouth Shooters Supply beats Midway USA's price all the time unless you have an FFL to get the discount. You really should take a look at their prices and save yourself some money.
