How to Open Receiver of Remington SPR 18 ???

Does anyone know how to open up the receivers of the Rem SPR 18's? Tried taking off rubber butt and and opening the long bolt attached to back of receiver and the bolt is very tight. Is this bolt the way to get into the receiver or is there another way??

That is the way to get to the receiver. It takes a long extension screw driver to reach the screw head. Shine a flashlight down the hole after you take off the butt pad (plate). Sometimes the bolt has a hex head which makes taking it off a lot easier. You can use a properly-sized socket if it has the hex bolt head. Most European guns are metric.

You can download the "official owners manual" for the SPR18 which has good information to know --  part numbers of parts, disassembly, assembly, cleaning, etc. Well worth it cause its free.
