kershaw alaskan blade trader

hello,

i usually post elsewhere on GBO'; but i'd like to know what you may have to say on the quality and country-of-manufacture (if you know) for the Kershaw Alaskan Blade Trader.    i'd like to know how well the knife works and where is it made.

I used mine on 2 moose this year. Not 2 complete moose, as a pard and his knife were involved. I was real happy with it. That gut hook is sweet for big animals too. Peeling the hide was a cinch. Never used the other 2 blades though.

Made in China. I never would have thought I'd give a good review for something that only cost $40 AND is made in China...but it did work well for me on those 2 moose, only needing a quick touch up between the first and second bull.

the one blade is made of a low-end stainless and would need frequent re-sharpening from what i've read since i first saw the thing for sale at smokey mountain knife works.   the skinning blade is made of better stainless, though not top-of-the-line.

Ive had mine for about six years and has always worked great I've got 5 or six handles and every available blade / attachments like spoons , spatulas , saw blades , steak knives , carver , bread knife , meat fork . they have special cases for them to they are really Handy for camping couldn't live without mine anymore .
