Mile  Rowle's  (Mr.DW) barrowed my Encore frame since he forgot his pistol grip for his frame. He shot a couple lighter bullets and then tried the BIG BOY's, 700 grain!!! Second shot destroyed the Nikon scope!!!!!!!

I'm not to surprised, I love my Nikon rifles scopes but pistol scopes are another story.  I went through 2 of them on my 15" 308 shooting 150gr Noslers, the first one failed after 3 shots and the second one after 10 shots, and both looked just like that.  I think it was a bad lot because the serial numbers were only 3 digits apart but I didn't want to try another one.
