PT945SS Jams

Owned PT945SS for several months bought new and have been going to the range more often. It has started to jam and tried different ammo with mixed results. Yesterday went to one of the best gunsmiths in the area and was informed that the gun was fine but the magazines that came with the gun had weak springs . I will contact Taurus and expect to be told no warranty ?? I can either order new springs or new magazines. Does anyone have experience with the problem and is there a manufacturer that makes a magazine for the 945 that is of better manufacture ? Thanks ahead

I always buy at least one spare magazine with any semi-auto purchase.  They can be finicky, and with an extra, it will save gas for another trip as you can find out if it is the gun or the magazine when there is a problem.

Thanks for the input ordered one from Midway a pro-mag. Also contacted Taurus and they said to return the magazines and they would replace them no charge except shipping I asked if this was a problem with the 945 clips and didn't get an answer other than they will replace them as soon as they get mine !!??

Just a quick update in case this info helps some one else. The Pro-Mag does not fir the Taurus properly wasted money. Bought Taurus mags from online store, Sent originals to factory asking for replacement under warranty Found another source for Mags online as well, Put  100 winchester rounds through gun yesterday with our t a hitch !!

Received 2 new magazines fromTaurus sent Fed EX no hassle no charge another hundred rounds through and no problems. Now I can work on accuracy and other issues
