.38/.357 newbie question.
« on: October 21, 2007, 03:50:52 PM »
I want to start reload for cowboy shooting. My rifle, a Rossi will not feed .38 reliably. I have about 1300 empty .38 cases and was wondering if there is a bullet that is longer that can be loaded to make the OAL of the cartridge closer to that of a .357?  >357's load fine, but the shorter cartridges are a real pain.  If so, anyone have any pet recipes they would share?   thanks.

I have one that I bought new with that problem. I called Navy Arms and they sent me a new extractor and ejector. Hand fitted them, and problems solved. Also polished the bolt face while I had it apart.
