I was very happy with my new "shooter grade" Ishapore Enfield. AIM has some left at $100. I took some bad pictures with a borrowed digital camera (don't drop your camera........).
I am planning on taking it completely down to clean. Hoping that I can just clean the wood instead of refinishing. I want to keep the arsenal rack number "24" on the side. Trying to find someone to fabricate a 6x6x40 stainless tank to do a home parkerizing job.
The wood has splices in it, but they are well fitted. The color of the wood is almost gold in places. I think that most of the darker wood is, in fact, just dirty. This is going to be project rifle so I am completely satisfied.
