Very nice pics of our favorite kind of guns.  Looks like 8" Rodman guns to us, not quite enough mass to be 10 inchers.

Regards,

Tracy and Mike
Smokin' my pipe on the mountings, sniffin' the mornin'-cool,
I walks in my old brown gaiters along o' my old brown mule,
With seventy gunners be'ind me, an' never a beggar forgets
It's only the pick of the Army that handles the dear little pets - 'Tss! 'Tss!

Made at Ft. Pitt, 1865, reg. nos. 29,31,33, about 8500 lbs. each.  The nearly sequential registry numbers lead me to think they probably came together out of one of the NY Harbor forts.

Hey lance, all is good. just real busy working on the house... I just happen to be driving by the riverside park and had to make a double take.. parked in front of bus stop. Grab my handy camera took these photo for you to see.. It seems that the parks dept. was in the process making repairs in the cannon row area. The cannons were fenced in, I found a short side of the fence and let myself in..I'm glad  you guys enjoyed
them..

EL Cazador 66 my brother in arms ! Thank you for posting the "Heavy Metal" !! They are fine looking guns. Good luck on the house and please give an update photo after cannon row restoration is finished if you are in the vicinity.
The sailors and soldiers memorial looks beautiful., I wouldnt mind seeing a few more pics of it as well sir.
