T/C Grip Question?

  I have Pachmayr Grippers on my old original Contender. These are not made for the newer G-2. I believe that T/C makes rubber grips for the G-2?  If so, how do these compare in recoil handling to the standard wood grips?

OTT brought out a new accessory called the "Grip Clip" which allows the use of Encore grips on G2 frames.  I would imagine that by using one you could use the Encore Packy's on the G2.
