keep in mind with t/c's you get carbine like velocities that are formidable gains with standard pistol calibers. such as the 41, 44's, and 45's.
i dont know what it says about me, but i now lean towards calibers and velocities that get the job done, but with as little recoil and component use as possible.   i like as many shots per pound as i can get.   i would think a contender in 41, 44special or mag, 45 colt or acp with a nice cast bullet would be mild to shoot and lethal on game.  i view the 460 and 500, 45-70 as gimmicks, more toys than anything else.  but that is just me.

myron man ,I can see possibly where you are coming from about the gimmick thing but I will say it is awful nice being able to shoot 3 calibers in the same gun barrel and not having to worry about lead build up and cylinder chambers . I shoot both the 460 AND 454 THROUGH MINE AND AM GETTING READ YTO GET SSOME BRASS AND DO THE 45 COLTS.
