should i remove the factory recoil pad or just  put the slip-on over it?

I say if you are going to be shooting from a bench or just need the extra length just slip it over the stock factory pad....<>,....:)

Handi rifles seem to have plenty long length of pull.
Plus the factory pad is rounded and your slip on will not stay strait.
I removed the factory pad on mine.
