scope rings quad locks or burris zee 22 mag with trophy scope

Hello : I would like to get away without using the Burris high Zee rings with my Bushnell trophy scope 3x9x40! Would medium ZEE ring work without a hammer problem? Or would the quadlock weaver ring work better!I have not quite  a 1/4 inch with high zee rings!I would like to lower a little lower than the high zee rings with the use if the trophy scope! Just tell me the rings that will work with that Bushnell  scope! Thanks Dale

Good luck with that, the Trophy has a huge power ring, makes mounting in anything but high or extra high rings without hammer mods real hard to do. I have the Trophy on my .405 Win Target, the hammer has been modified to allow the scope to be mounted in low Leupold QRWs. If you have a dremel, the hammer can be easily modified, see the FAQs and Help sticky on the topic, there's also a current thread in the Centerfire forum on the same subject.
