Son's first bow kill
« on: October 24, 2007, 02:45:58 PM »
We finally got finished with our fall baseball and were able to get in the woods this past weekend. As you can see in the pic, my 13 year old put the smack down on this 90 pound button buck. He was a little upset that it was a small buck but I told him that for a first deer with a bow I didn't care. He's shooting a Browning Micro Midas set on 40#. Beeman carbon arrows with 100 grain Allen broadheads from Walmart. I couldn't believe it but at 20 yds. it was a clean pass through and the deer only went 30 yds. He is really fired up now and can't wait for Friday to get here! Me either!

Congrats to the young hunter.
99% of all Lawyers give the other 1% a bad name. What I find hilarious about this is they are such an arrogant bunch, that they all think they are in the 1%.

Congrats. I can't understand these guys preaching about needing 75 pound draw weights and 3 tons of KE. This just shows that a good shot does it everytime.
