Need sounds for CDs
« on: October 22, 2007, 08:56:11 AM »
Where can I get sounds on CDs?  Or sounds to burn onto CDs?  I used to take my truck out and park it in a field and stick a Johnny Stewart tape in the tape player and turn the speaker on.  Got a new truck and it has a CD player need the CDs now.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Try the varmintal.com website. He has a lot of sounds on mp3 you could just burn to a CD. Lots of other good info there too.

Ditto on the varmintal
Western Rivers is another one you might look at.

You can do it both ways, either intermittent or on for a full 30min duration (see repeat loop for electronics)
Try it and see what works best for you in your area...I happen to like the intermittent and will call for as little as 20sec every three to five min. Sometimes I am on stand for as little as 20min but you can get some of the older, wary dogs in by staying in place up to 40min.
Once I know that something is there, I like to shutup completley cept for some light coaxing and let them hunt me down.
