I took my two Marlins out shooting for the first time yesterday. It was a much shorter session that I had wanted but my wife has a way of adding up the Honey-does whenever I mention I'm going to the range,,,,but that's another story.
I shot mostly at steel at 50 and 100 yards. The plates are about 12 by 24 inches.
First the 336 in 44 mag. Shot well and without a hitch. Action was smooth and flawless. Hit the steel most every time. I think my missed were my fault and not the gun.
Second was the 1895CB in 45-70. Well its my new favorite gun if that tells you anything. Again flawless action and it hit when I did my part.
I'm an official Marlin guy now.
