Benelli, B-76 9mm....anybody got one?
« on: July 30, 2007, 12:18:01 PM »
Does anyone have a Benelli B76 9mm?

Just picked one up, it was unusual and seemingly well engineered.

I invite any comments.

Would like to.  I've foolishly let a few pass by me.  They're supposedly quite accuarate and well made.  I do understand their mechancis and design to be a bit complex though.  Only real downside to them I've found is that if you need service or a part - you're pretty much out of luck.

I still regret not buying one I handled many years ago at $249. Hard Chrome internal parts. Nice grip angle and great styling. I think the gun has about 76 parts and is complex. Many articles I have read say that only ball ammo will function well due to the angle of feed from the magazine. They are said to be very relielable using balll ammo.
