Trapping: How-to-do-it?
« on: November 02, 2007, 12:51:34 AM »
Is there a single manual/book that would cover most trapping it scenarios?  Or does someone need to get a manual/book that covers, let's say bobcats or beaver, to learn exactly what is needed?
There are larger number of beavers in the state then I can remember going back for years.  I'd like to try my hand at it....but I'm really unsure as to exactly what I "need"....  Don't want to buy a lot of useless stuff, and get no results from it.

Are there any beaver trapping guys near Cabot, Arkansas?  Someone willing to answer some questions or possibly let me assist them on an outing(running their trap line)....probably learn more that way over reading a book...twice.

If you are just want to go for beaver get Hal Sullivan's Beaver 2000. It will take you through basic biology, traps, sets, to putting up the fur.
