I have always just Bowhunted Biggame for the past 45 years & the Squirrells, Rabbits, grouse, Pheasant, groundhog & other various small game that have fallen to my LUCK shots have been with whatever Broadhead I was using at the time. I took my 1st deer in 1958 with a MA3 Blade, 1st Wild hog with the same & then a few deer with the High Precision 3 blade & Bear Razorhead-early stick bow days, wood arrows.
I prefer a 3 blade as they "ALWAYS" seem to fly great with no adjusting.
The stick bow & wood arrows accounted for several Whitetails, Hog, Mule Deer, Goat & Elk. Now, I use a compound Bow & Rocky Mountain 3 Blade Razors 125 GR. since Robert Barrie came out with them in the early 70s. I have seen no reason to change thou I try new ones all the time but put the Rocky Mountain on when I head for the field & the hunt. I have many Biggame animals to my credit (thanks to the man upstairs). I have been in many Bowhunting camps (plus I was a pro shop owner 15 years) to witness MANY types Broadheads in use & the results. I "WILL" continue to use the Rocky Mountain as I feel MANY of the Broadheads of today are just some sort of a copy of a good thing. Enjoy your time in the field & Bowhunting-it has been my life & a good one. If "YOU" are blessed with half the Bowhunting success I have had-YOU will have many excellent memories.
