IMR 4350 powder question

I know that either IMR or Hodgdon 4831 powder is the best powder for the 270. I was wondering how many use the above mentioned powder (4350) for 270 loads?

Most of the 270s I load for I use Hodgdon 4831, but one does use IMR 4350.If the rifle likes it better nothing wrong with that.

Both of my 270s like the IMR 4350 with 90 and 130 grain Sierra bullets but the IMR 4831 and H4895 work better with other brands of bullets .

I"ve fired several hundred rounds through my .270 in the past couple of months.  Tried IMR 4350, H4831SC, and IMR 4831.

While both the other powders shot well, IMR 4831 and a Sierra 130 gn bullet shoots a bit better in my rifle.

I haven't tried any of the heavier bullets as the 06 gets the call if I need a bigger bullet.

My .270 prefers the IMR 4350 over the 4831 when shooting the 130 speer bullets.  I have some 140 hornady's that i will try to marry up this winter.   TVC15

I have two Ruger 77 rifles chambered for .270 Win. one a standard with wood stock the other an ultra-lite with a laminated stock. They both love 54.9 gr. IMR 4350 pushing a 130 gr. Sierra Pro-Hunter. I do have to seat the bullets differently for each rifle to get the best accuracy. This is my preferred whitetail load.
