Sorry we didn't meet up! We had a good time too, I had a nice 10 point walk past me at 6 steps Friday morning but it was about 15 min. before legal shooting time. I passed a doe about 8:30 then about 9:45 another nice buck came along (maybe the 10 point coming back through) I had a broad side 20 yard shot at a standing deer. When the smoke cleared I saw him running flat out, tail down in a classic heart shot death run. He got out of sight pretty quick but I'm sure I heard him fall. I spent the rest of the day looking but never found any sign of a hit. I am pretty sure he ran into a large clear-cut but there were so many other tracks I couldn't be sure which ones were his. It was so thick where I was hunting I could have walked within a few feet of him without seeing him. Makes me sick! M son-in-law got a 6 1/2 year old doe Saturday evening and that was it. I think I saw a total of 7 deer during the hunt but nothing else to shoot at.
