« on: November 07, 2007, 01:14:59 PM »
I'm in need of a change up from my Encore and looking a new front loader and found the buckwacka muzzle loader on the net. I wondering if any one has one or used one?
Looking for positive or negative info.

The Buckwacka is a nice short barreled bambi blaster.  It will handle 150g loads with no problem, but it does kick like a mule.  It will shoot minute of whitetail out to 100 yards.  Its small and reliable.  Best I have gotten was 1 1/2 inch groups at 100 yards.  I have no regrets with this one.

Do a search here on GB's as I have made a few posts on it.  It is a good handling brush gun, that has never let me down when it comes to hunting.

Since I went smokeless with the Savage ML2, my encore/Buckwacka/shotguns rarely go into the woods.

I'm very happy with mine.

It likes t/c Shockwaves over two pyrodex pellets.  The deer don't seem to much care for them, but they don't complain for very long though.   ;)

They're kind of ugly lookin' but mine shoots nice and is very easy to use.
