"Glass finish"
« on: February 19, 2008, 04:01:05 PM »
I was wondering is there anything you can treat your hoslters with, that can give a good lasting glass finish?

Polishing them with a good shoe polish mades a real nice finish, but of course is just a cosmetic type of thing, is there any other good oils or waxes that you fellas have used to treat leather to give it a nice shiny coat that lasts?

Most of my holsters are work holsters, so they don't make it very far before they are plenty dull again, which is why I was wondering.

(That and the rooster cogburn hosters in the buffalo arms catalog seemed real nice and polished!)

Try some Neat-Lac. It is shiny and lasts a long time. When it begins to wear off just give it another coat.
