What kind 'a extras?
« on: July 22, 2003, 01:28:48 PM »
Hello Everyone,

I don'k know alot about lever actions. I'm alot more into handguns, but I picked up my first lever action a lil while back (Marlin 1894 SS). I was wondering what kind of extra stuff yall do to your lever actions: action jobs, perfered sights, tip off scope mounts... etc. Some of you educate me on this thing please.

Thanks,
Scott

No one here fixes up there levers? You are satisfied with the horrid trigger pull of the Marlin? You prefer the buckhorn style sights over peep sights? No preference on scope mounting, fixed power or variable? Nor do you have information on how to do an action job? Come on people, you can do better than this.

I put an Ashley express ghost ring sight on mine and love it. Other than a little better recoil pad ( It's a 450 ) I havn't done anything.  KN
