Passed up 10 point  ???
I saw deer everytime I went out in October and early November, but let them walk. It was just too warm to mess with dragging a deer. I shot a nice symetrical 6 point in mid November and haven't seen but one deer since. Hopefully my luck will change, only 4 saturdays left. I'd like to get a couple of does for the freezer and maybe that elusive big buck.

Yeah I passed on a nice 10 point because there is a 14point non typical running around. Seen both after legal shooting hours.

Very good reasons for letting them walk. When does your season end? Make sure you post pics if you get him.

I am too impatient to wait, I guess.  I'd have had to shoot the 10 pointer.  Of course, the biggest deer I ever killed was a nice 8 pointer that I got this year.  I am having my best season ever.  So far, 7 deer.  Mostly freezer fillers, with the one nice buck.  I've got 3 in SC and 4 in Alabama.  I'm going back to SC on tuesday, and will hunt locally here in NC the next week.  Then back to AL the day after Christmas, til the 2nd of Jan.  Then I'll get one more trip in to AL the end of Jan, for 7 days.  I should be pretty well burned out by then, at least til turkey season opens Mar. 15th.

My biggest is a 13point 120 class that I took on Big Island Hunt Club in Great Falls. That hunt club no longer exist because one day when me and the guys at the hunting club was at work some trespassers got onto the island and it was a father and a son if I recall and the father shot the son and he died. Then as they were investigating and us tring to hunt they found a old revolutionary war fort. Then duke power took the land and they are wanting to make it a state park. I wish I still had that hunt club. Anyway the 14pt was on the trail cam again. I am going tomorrow and see what I can do.
