Super Redhawk 454
« on: December 12, 2007, 10:40:03 AM »
In a couple of weeks I'll be ordering a new hunting handgun  and wanted some opinions on revolver and scope choice.I will be ordering the ruger super redhawk in 454 Casull and the scope will be the Burris 2x7x32 with the electro dot recticle. I did have one question about the scope , is the dot always on or is the recticle a duplex with a switch for the dot when needed? This rig will be used for deer , black Bear, and possibly Moose

I took a 2-7X burris off my Ruger 454 and put a 4X Leupold on it. I much prefer the 4X on the 454.
I then put the 2-7X on my 7br and love it.

I am almost 100 percent sure all illuminated reticle scopes are just a regular crosshair configuration with lighted capability.
I have had several.
