shotgun tape problem???
« on: February 02, 2008, 02:00:53 PM »
I just bought a 1300 Turkey shotgun and it had that soft like tape on it. I took all the tape off and it left a nasty residue film on the gun. Does anyone know of a good thing to use to get it off?? Ive tried alcohol and rem oil and its work just a little. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Goo gone works too and so does WD 40 but with more elbow grease.
You can find both in most stores.  The goo gone is in the cleaner isle.
I know you don''t know where that is in the store.  They should also have Lemon or orange oil near by.  A little on your wood stocks make them look really good.
