Most of the time. Normally the Ackley Imp rounds use a 40 deg. shoulder, but there are versions out there that people call AI that aren't really an Ackley design, but something else.

Mr. Ackely seems to be remembered for cartridges that were mainly 40 degree shoulder and this is a strong possibility. BUT Mr. Ackley worked with many designs, he was an engineer, and some were 28 degrees and some 30 degrees and ??? so you need to be very careful. If you had another shoulder and tried using the 40 degree dies, you might ruin some cases. Don't see great danger... but it is a good question that deserves a good answer. Cast the chamber and be sure. (Cerrosafe or sulphur easy).  luck.
