Will a 220 in a bucket kill a coyote? Has it ever been done?

A 220 should take a coyote.Yours odds of taking one in this set are very slim, you may want to try a snare in their trails--if legal in your area.

I have caught a coyote in a 220 bucket set but when I checked the trap it was gone! Luckily the coyote was only about 20yards away tangled in a fence. The trap was squarely across the throat and the coyote was still alive. So if you are going to try this be sure you stake your set solidly
Good luck

This set is such a shot in the dark, I would try almost any other set--your odds will be much better.
