45/410 Encore Barrel as a "hand" shotgun

Do these barrels pattern good enough for pen raised pheasants?

Roger : my ten inch contender barrel with external choke surely does pattern well enough for squirrel and rabbits with 3 inch shells stoked in it...

Thanks for the information.  Now, all I need to do is find a barrel.  I'll be on the look for a good used one.

I had one that shot great with the .45, but wouldn't put the shot anywhere near where the sights were pointed.  I sent it back to the factory, but that didn'help.  I traded it.
