scope ring allen size

Please excuse my deliberately misplaced post.  I know no better quick-resource than our very own Quick so here goes.  Not directly a Handi question but I'll make it one.

Of the many Handi's that have been scoped have you found that the allen screws are standerized.  Need an allen spec on a .75" B-Square ring. I want to fabricate a "poor-mans" quick release lever.  The first piece of data is the thread size and then maybe weld a small piece of metal to the screw like a sort of custom, angled lever, a small integral tool really.  It'll be a flashlight mount.

Most ring cap screws are 6-48, it's a pretty standard size, but the best source for B-Square info would be them. ;)

I meant to say the screw that tightens the ring to its rail.  All rings have set screws in the bottom to generate tension against their rails/bases.  I'll be in touch with them of course.  THNX for the link.  All of my rings(3 pr.) share the same allen in the base but not the ring caps.  Go figure.
