Took one of my single sixes out to day fo a squirrel hunt

Outstanding! I really miss the squirrel hunting I used to do in california, I would spend hours in the field chasing those guys.

seen alot of squirrels and missed alot of shots but was able to connect with a few shots .I love hunting with my single sixes for coyote ,squirrels ,rabbits ,snakes and small vermin .its even taken a of gator over the years .plus numerous snakes .nutria .Ive owned a single six as long as I can remember ,had two 3 screws an new model 9 1/2 barrel (toooo long for packability) now ive got a 4 5/8 and a 6 1/2 new models both  with trigger jobs and recrowned barrels  and numbered cylinders . im a big fan of single action handguns .

Nice job...Too bad I can't fire off my 22lr handgun in my backyard...I could post some pics like that as well...Oh well, I just take the little varmints out with my air rifle...Just as dead with less noise.

Nice job on the squirrels .   I was humbled a few weeks ago, took my 22 contender out, scoped of course, spent several hours afield. When I returned , it was squirrels - 3  , IROLD - 0.........handgunning for squirrels is not as easy as many folks think !  I really believe it is as big a job as hunting whitetails.   Again nice job, especially with iron sights.
